Crisp was a pirate aboard the Walrus under Captain Flint's command.
Biography[]
Season One[]
Crisp participates in the vote to elect Billy Bones as quartermaster after Gates steps down to captain the Ranger. Billy then tells them that they have to careen the ship, but De Groot says that the spot Flint chose isn't safe. However, Flint convinces the crew that they don't have the time to choose another spot, and the crew votes to careen at his chosen location. However, despite Billy's pleas, they refuse to careen without prostitutes. After the Walrus is beached to remove the barnacles from the hull, Crisp and Froom are first tasked with securing the lines to the nearby palm trees. As they do this, Froom talks about how he plans on having sex with women from high society after they get the gold. They are soon scolded for tying a line to the wrong tree, and told to redo it by Billy Bones, as it is important. However, the two decide that the line is good as it is, and they both leave to find some prostitutes at Crisp's suggestion[1].
During the battle with the Andromache, he mans the rails of the Walrus once the two ships are brought alongside each other. As they drift together, sailors from the Andromache fire their muskets at the pirates. Crisp briefly locks eyes with Dufresne before being shot in the head and killed[2].
